A Stitch In Time

I love my Radley umbrella!  I've had it for a while now, but thought I'd show it off today anyway.  Isn't it just the perfect brollie for a stitcher!  I don't think I'll be having a lot of use for it when I'm in Dubai - I wouldn't even be able to use it here today in Plymouth either, with this wind and driving rain we're having!  :o)

Carol...I remember Plymouth...but I can guarantee to you that Orkney is far worse...where I live at the moment there is absolutely NOTHING to stop the wind, so when the gales start you can hardly walk upright...an umbrella is totally pointless...I tried once, just using it to walk out to the car as it was hammering down...the umbrella broke after only 7feet...I did not even get around the corner of the house...I miss Plymouth...lol

You are right--I love that umbrella! Sounds like pretty ugly weather. We are just freezing cold, but the sun is out--that is a good thing for this time of the year! Hugs!

I think it's just be bee's knees! You'll find just the right day to use it this year and you'll look really spiffy too!

You could always use the umbrella as a parasol. When I lived in Japan, many women would use an umbrella to protect their skin from the sun. Only a thought. Fabulous work and great attention to detail, as always. Happy New Year!
